Pineau des Charentes is a liqueur wine with a Protected Denomination of Origin made of grape juice and Cognac. It can be drunk fresh as an aperitif, in a cocktail, or served in a semi melon. It also suits perfectly the foie gras and blue cheeses like Bleu d’Auvergne and Roquefort.
Two and a half years of ageing
Intensely golden colour. Nose dominated by honey and orange peel. Silk in the mouth with again honey and currants and notes of walnut at the end.

One year and a half of ageing
Intense cherry red colour. Aromas of black and red fruits (Morello cherry, blackberry, raspberry). The mouth is persistent and evolve towards jammy notes of quince and prune.

5 years ageing
Golden color with slight orange reflections. The nose is marked by currant and orange notes. Silky mouth with aromas of dried apricot, honey and dried fruits.
